Hello! My name is Maddie (although I think you know that already.) I am looking for someone to share in an adventure. You just might be that hobbit. If you disagree, then I implore you to leave, because this is not a blog for the feint of heart, nor the weak of mind. Still here? Oh good. Let's just jump right in, shall we?
As you have probably already noticed, I am not what you people might call a "normal person." I am, however, a "fangirl." Now, that is someone who basically likes stuff. Fangirls are nerds. And that is perfectly fine! I love being a nerd! But it also means I get really excited about really small stuff. John Green once said “…because nerds like us are allowed to be unironically enthusiastic about stuff… Nerds are allowed to love stuff, like jump-up-and-down-in-the-chair-can’t-control-yourself love it. Hank, when people call people nerds, mostly what they’re saying is ‘you like stuff.’ Which is just not a good insult at all. Like, ‘you are too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness’.” Which is so true. That's what I am. That's my life right now.
A few fun facts about me:
1. I am a freshman in high school
2. I am diabetic
3. I have a pet hedgehog
4. I play the guitar (acoustic and electric) (and the violin, if we're getting technical)
5. My favorite TV shows are Doctor Who, Supernatural, and Sherlock
6. My favorite book, by a large margin, has got to be The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
The reason I am creating this blog, is because I am a good student, and I don't want to fail. No, but seriously, I am making this because my English teacher has assigned us a project. I am not quite sure what my project will entail, but I do know this: It will be AWESOME! So just you wait, my friend. Just you wait.
